My approach is to be present, relational, and solution focused. I am able to work in depth. Your issues resolve in steps with an approach that is tailored for you and the changes you want to see.  We go toward feelings together (anxiety, depression, trauma, &c.).  They are signals that lead us directly to where healing can happen: healing of heart, brain, mind, body, emotion, and spirit.  I build on your strengths to help you grow or find your natural balance again.  

If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging relationship or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.  My thirty-five years of experience can serve as a sounding board for direction in a safe, supportive, structured environment.  I will offer practical assistance to get you back in action in your life.

If you are wanting to delve deeper, I will take a history to lay out the tough stretches of your life and sequence how we will clear them.  Always learning, I integrate traditional and innovative ways of working. You will be surprised to see how your own inner resources begin to manifest steadily throughout the therapy.  The work is experiential.  Treatments that provide learning experiences for people promote more lasting change than those that just adjust biochemistry for a while. 

I'm sure we are part of a wholeness so far beyond the ego from which we operate in our daily wanderings that its realization would knock our socks off.  Then, how do we proceed to blend the science and art of psychology to integrate mind, body, emotion, and spirit to form a launching pad to close in on that wholeness?  Certainly, if you can't learn to clear the desktop of your mind, there's no space in you for love to flourish.  So, I need to help you control your OS (operating system).  That's one track of our work.  A second track is to clear or integrate parts of self or memories that keep you avoiding Life or that jam you up when you engage in life.  (Stuck, not broken.)  Combining the empirically validated therapies known as ACT and EMDR is a powerful way to deal with tracks 1 and 2 together.  And there are many other strategies.
