With over 30 years experience as a psychologist and child/family counselor, I currently serve in private practice working with a broad spectrum of clients. Undergraduate: University of California at Berkeley, 4 years-BA, Chemistry and Philosophy.
Graduate: University of Hawaii, Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology.
Internship (13 months of 40 hour a week supervised training!): Tripler Army Medical Center, Adolescent/Child Psychiatry Service, Honolulu.

Dr. Rhoades has always been a full-time, front-line clinician. He has been in individual or group private practices in Honolulu, Kona, Reno, Annapolis, and Vancouver, BC. He has worked in medical facilities (Renown Health, Reno and Sierra Nevada Family Health, Carson City). And he has had experience with complex mental disorders in mental health clinics in Hawaii and Nevada.
